Where did our name originate from?
Michael Lawrence Soy Candles was named after my two Grandfathers - Michael & Lawrence (or in Italian Michele & Lorenzo). Both have passed and it only felt right to name my small business after my two guardian angels.
When was Michael Lawrence Soy Candles created?
I have always had a passion for crafts and the arts. In 2015 after some experimenting and in search of a hobby i stumbled across a candle making kit, and the rest is history.

About the owner
I am a qualified Kindergarten & Primary Teacher. I also studied Music (vocals) throughout both high school and university. I've been teaching 4 year old Kindergarten for the past 4 years. In 2020, Just before the Pandemic begun, we were lucky enough to fall pregnant with our baby girl. After a difficult start, In September 2020 our baby girl was born & I have been on Maternity leave since. Although the world has much uncertainty at the moment, this was definitely the highlight of my pandemic year! This time away from work has also given me time to reboot Michael Lawrence Soy Candles & dive into new ranges & exciting ventures ahead.

About the products
Our candles are made from the finest quality soy wax, providing a non toxic and clean burn. All scents, wicks and items used in our candle and diffuser making are of a premium grade and natural, non toxic products. Within guidelines and safety requirements, we use maximum fragrance loading to ensure strong and lasting smells, even before lighting.
Our products are all customisable and have the ability to be personalised. Bridal, Birthday, Wedding, Holiday, Teacher, Baptism, Memorial gifts and more.

From my home to yours. With the support of my wonderful husband, family and friends, Michael Lawrence Soy Candles has become a huge part of my life, allowing me an opportunity to create products for my customers to enjoy all while in the comfort of my home.
